Archi Necklace in Sterling Silver is a designed series made in sterling silver. It measures 60 cms long. It is a representation of the Mobius strip concept, in which the ends of a ribbon are linked together to form a continuous loop, to express the concept of perpetual movement.
STORY
Archi Necklace in Sterling Silver refers to The Archi series; An activity I did early in my architecture education when I was taught, how to interpret and manage two-dimensional shapes into a three-dimensional volume. I made a three-dimensional volume out of a two-dimensional strip of metal, producing a special illusion. This tridimensional volume may capture the space between volumes, the spaces within the volume, and describe their connection with the outside world.
The objects in this collection can leverage the notion of the “in-between the object and space” to create a relationship between the carrier and the object. This jewellery is a volume that contains space and is floating inside itself with continual movement.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Measurements: 35 mm diameter.
Material: 925 sterling silver.
Chain: Green silk string // Black string // Grey Silk string // Sterling silver chain cable.
Gold is available upon request // 9ct and 18ct gold.
